To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Workday Curriculum Developer in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Department. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and innovative learning solutions to help employees make the most of Workday’s unified solution. This Curriculum Developer will play a pivotal role in the development, administration, and improvement of curriculum. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. This position will report to the Workday Product Manager.
Essential Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain instructionally sound learning solutions that build on a holistic learning experience
Lead change by researching, designing, developing, and maintaining creative approaches to deliver engaging content to learners
Develop and own course content which could include class materials, presentations, and activities via on demand learning or scheduled classroom training
Occasional opportunity to teach Workday topics both virtually and in-person
Partnering with other members of the HRIS team to develop creative solutions for delivering data and insights to leaders, employees, and HR professionals
Facilitate curriculum as an instructor, designer, business partner, and internal consultant
Support continuous improvement projects
Engage in planning discussions for Workday releases and updates to create and provide educational support for user groups impacted by enhancements
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data, business information, and initiatives
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
Relevant work experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) software
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining training curriculum
Ability to prioritize and collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that is both in-person and remote
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Workday functional expertise and familiarity with technical offerings
Prior teaching experience in a corporate environment with a history of delivering engaging, outcome-based learning experiences to diverse internal audiences
Applied knowledge of continuous improvement management, driving enhancements in all areas of curriculum
Proficiency building eLearning courses using Adobe Captivate
Proficiency in using authoring tools, video recording, and multimedia development software
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate:
