Salary Range

$46,966.43 - $75,194.75/ Annually

Necessary Special Requirements

Must be a certified firefighter in the State of Florida or be enrolled in a State of Florida approved fire academy at the time of application. Proof of enrollment must be uploaded at time of application. Those enrolled at time of application must be a certified firefighter in the State of Florida before a conditional offer is made.

Must possess a State of Florida certification as an emergency medical technician (EMT) before a conditional offer is made and maintain same certification as a condition of continued employment in the job class. A valid State of Florida Paramedic certification may substitute.

Must possess a valid Class E State driver's license or equivalent, as determined by the City, at the time of secondary application.

All male applicants between the ages of 18-26 years of age must provide proof of Selective Service registration or exemption.

Must maintain compliance with Florida Statute 633.
