New full time perm Distribution Center Supervisor opportunity located in Irving, TX!

Job Title: Distribution Center Supervisor

Location: Irving, TX (facility will be moving to Justin, TX by December 2024)

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr (contract rate) / perm salary $60,000-$65,000 plus benefits, company matched 401K and 8% bonus.

SUMMARY : Responsible for daily leadership and mentoring to create a motivated work force. The Distribution Center Supervisor will manage multiple areas including shipping, receiving, cable cutting, transportation and inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES   include the following :

• Partnering with the Manager, the Supervisor will build employee engagement and a high performing team by recruiting, training, and retaining the best talent.
• Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations.
• Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse objectives

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two years or more related high volume fast paced distribution operations experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to demonstrate “hands on” warehouse tasks as well as being active in the daily warehouse operations
• Working knowledge of automated warehouse management system
• A proven ability to lead others and motivate them to succeed in meeting customer’s needs.
• Build good partnerships with all areas of the organization by exhibiting excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Detailed oriented and a good problem solver
• Ability to prioritize, organize effectively and work independently
• Proven ability to handle change management
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills
