3D Generalist to join our dynamic and creative studio teamThe ideal candidate will work on 3D animated marketing content with our marketing animation team, doing real time lighting and rendering as well as final compositing and VFX. They will also be working on games or app related VFX content.
You will love collaborating and working alongside other creatives, engineers, and product leaders to build a one of a kind experience and product. What You'll Be Doing: - Within Unity or blender: Assemble the scenes and design the lighting for the final look of rendered marketing content while meeting the production schedule.
- Major plus if you can create tools for the team using C# or Python to maximize the department's efficiency
- Proficiency in Blender
- Within Nuke: assemble full final shots, combining render passes to achieve a clean and attractive look. Utilize the 2D and/or 3D capabilities of the software depending on the task and time allocated
- Optimize projects in unity and blender
- Perform creative lighting development setup as required using lighting and compositing tools
- Create VFX in unity
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
What You Should Have: - 5+ years of experience working with Unity or Unreal
- 2+ years of experience with either Nuke, Maya or blender, and Python
- Technical art focused
- Python and C# huge plusses
- Willingness to be hands on daily, while also serving as a strategic leader
- A great understanding of building VFX in Unity or unreal
- Experience with advanced compositing of render passes generated from V-Ray, Arnold, etc
- The ability to work in a efficient and timely environment (preferably commercials or TV)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
